The brief; to create a modern luxury residence that balanced contemporary living with timeless classics — layered with bold, warm colours, rich textures, and touches of old-world charm. A home thoughtfully designed for both husband and wife, while also creating a welcoming space for extended family to visit, stay, and truly enjoy.

The first space to be transformed was originally the fifth bedroom, which previously connected to the linen room and laundry. As this access was no longer required, we reimagined the room into a sophisticated whiskey lounge — a place to unwind, listen to vinyl records or CDs, enjoy a favourite whiskey, settle in with a book, and immerse yourself in the warmth and moodiness the space brings.

Layered with Panama – Dandy Weave wallpaper from Elitis, combining the delicate texture of straw fibres with a sophisticated leather-look finish, the room is wrapped in warmth and character. Beautifully paired with the leather armchair the husband purchased during an overseas trip, the space feels collected, refined, and full of timeless charm. Catherine Martin’s Beverly Hills fabric features across the cushions and ottoman, paired with Warwick Lovely in Cinnamon and Calabria olive green velvet drapery to create a rich, timeless palette full of old-world charm.
